Jason Bloom, MS, CSCS, NASM-PES
Program Director
Jason has been involved with sports his whole life. He began playing football at the age of 6 and continued on all the way through college. Jason spent two years at Florida State University where he was a running back. He then finished his college career playing for The College of New Jersey where he received his degree in Exercise Sciences. Upon finishing college, Jason worked as a Strength and Conditioning coach, and was certified as an Olympic Lifting Referee. He then received his Masters of Science degree from California University of Pennsylvania. Jason now enjoys training in Mixed Martial Arts. His passion is helping athletes reach and exceed their potential.
Jan Bruins
Performance Coach
Jan Bruins graduated in 2012 from Rutgers University where he studied Exercise Science. While at Rutgers, he worked with the Rutgers Football athletic training staff, as well as working with the NY Jets during their offseason strength and conditioning program. Growing up he participated in Soccer, Cross Country, Wrestling, Track and Rugby.
Nick Evans Hunter, BA, CSCS
Performance Coach
Nick is originally from Richmond, Virginia and began athletics at a young age. He played soccer, football, pitched AAU baseball, and competed in Brazilian jiu-jitsu. Nick graduated from Guilford College with his BA in Sociology. He developed a passion for rugby and moved to New Zealand where he played a season at left wing and blind-side flanker for Linwood Bulls in Canterbury Metro Division II. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the NSCA. Succeeding in multiple sports and overcoming serious injuries has given Nick a great appreciation for dedication and excellence in training.
Lauren Fiske, MS, CSCS, USAW
Performance Coach
A multi-sport athlete in high school, Lauren is familiar with numerous sports, as she played field hockey, soccer, lacrosse, and as well ran track during her high school career. She pursued running during her freshman year at Dickinson College, and enjoyed the challenge of being a student athlete. After completing her BA at William and Mary, she pursued a Master’s degree in Exercise Science at the George Washington University. Lauren received her CSCS through the NSCA, and as well attained the Sports Performance Coach certification through USAW. Lauren has worked with athletes of all ages and abilities, including elementary school, high school multi-sport athletes, and professional lacrosse players. Through her own experiences with Olympic-style weightlifting training Lauren realizes that attention to detail and striving for a goal with tenacity are necessary for success.
Bryan Queeney
Performance Coach
Bryan is Southern New Jersey born and raised. After graduating from Hammonton High School (Baseball State Champions Senior Year) he departed immediately for Air Force Basic Military Training. While in the Air Force (Langley Air Force Base, Virginia) he played baseball for a travel team before transferring the New Jersey Air Guard, 177th Fighter Wing at the Atlantic City International Airport. After a highly decorated and successful 14 year career, Bryan moved on to manage the family business in Pennsylvania for several years then returned to Southern New Jersey in 2004. After working as a customer service representative for a New Jersey-based yacht builder Bryan made the move to the Hit Doctor in Voorhees in the winter of 2010. He joined the Parisi Speed School team in November of 2012 to continue to his commitment to youth athletes.
Bryan attended Air Force Community College and also Penn State University. While in the Air National Guard, Bryan managed the base Fitness Center where he assisted members with achieving their goals, ensured safety and maintained the facility. Bryan also managed the Power Room at the Hit Doctor, and now brings his 20 years of coaching, personal training, and fitness experience to the Parisi Speed School at Cherry Hill Health and Racquet Club. Bryan’s ongoing mission is "...to take our knowledge of fitness and clearly communicate that to all athletes. We are committed to helping each athlete achieve their speed, strength and conditioning goals."
Marie Zeoli
Performance Coach
Sports have been a major part of Marie’s life since her childhood. Her experience in sports includes soccer, softball, basketball, lacrosse, and field hockey. While pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, Nutrition & Food Sciences at the University of Vermont, Marie began playing rugby. Dedication, perseverance, and confidence eventually led to her becoming the starting fly-half and captain. After completing her degree, Marie’s passion for health, wellness, and fitness led to her becoming an ACE Certified Personal Trainer. Marie has also become a weight loss coach and helps people to make lifestyle changes in order to meet and maintain their goals. Marie looks forward to furthering her certification in sports conditioning along with continuing a path in sports nutrition. Marie is dedicated to help train athletes to perform with confidence and to become all around better athletes.
Matt Zubak, BA, CSCS
Performance Coach
Matt graduated from Sterling High School in 2007. While there he competed on the football, wrestling, and track & field teams. He went on to play fooball at Gettysburg College where he received his Bachelor's degree in Health Science in 2011. After college, Matt received his Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist Certification through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Coach Matt is very passionate about teaching proper weight training techniques and running fundamentals as well as motivating athletes of all ages to not only reach, but exceed both their athletic and other personal goals.
