Class Descriptions
Abs & ends - (no choreography) Squat, crunch and lunge your way to fab abs and lean legs! Light weights may be used in this muscle toning workout.
Active Recovery - Foam rolling and stretching, it's that simple. Everyone can do this! Reduce stress, eliminate pain and inflammation from runner's knee, shin splints, lower back, hip, shoulder and neck pain, tennis elbow, tendonitis/bursitis and other injuries. Break the feed-forward cycle between the brain and muscles by removing tension from your fascia. This decreases stress, improves the immune system and increases recovery.
ASF After School Fitness - Designed to keep pre-teens and teens in shape and active through a variety of activities which include but are not limited to circuit, agility, and conditioning training, as well as obstacle course, cardio and TRX equipment! The attitude of this program is light, but the workouts are tough!
Ashtanga Yoga - Ashtanga Yoga is a system of yoga transmitted to the modern world by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois (1915-2009). This method of yoga involves synchronizing the breath with a progressive series of postures—a process producing intense internal heat and a profuse, purifying sweat that detoxifies muscles and organs. The result is improved circulation, a light and strong body, and a calm mind.
ASY After School Yoga - This class will teach some basic yoga poses that are playful and challenging and will help your teen build strength and flexibility as well as self-confidence and self esteem in a nurturing and non-competitive environment.
BarreBall - Unique format concentrating on leaner, longer stroonger bodies. Combining large and small exercise balls carving muscles, sculpting and trimming the body. Barre conditioning exercises integrate fat burning interval training and isometrics to improve stamina, coordination, flexibility and mobility. Develop the length of a dancer and the strength of an athlete. For all bodies, ages gender or fitness levels.
Breath & Meditation - Learn the fundamentals of breathing in yoga, as well as the power of breathing in other life activities. This class will quiet of the mind and body.
Brickhouse - HIGH INTENSITY, low impact workout combining boxing, Pilates and KICK BAGS. Boxing drills to increase heart rate maximizing calorie burn, Pilates using the six principles to center & balance, challenge & strengthen the core. Weighted gloves* to help define and enhance strength. Let's bring it on hard core!
Cardio Combo - A high energy level class that incorporates step, low impact training, muscle strengthening and more in diverse variations to energize you and help you achieve your cross training goals.
Cardio Fusion - A multi level muscle strengthening and toning class but with an unbelievable cardio workout. Cardio Muscle is a 45-60 minute class using body bars, dumbells, balls to tone and condition muscles while raising metobolic rate for rapid-fat-burn.
Cardio Kickboxing - A strong and energetic cardio workout building boxing combinations and speed drills in a non-impact format. Agility training for the upper and lower body fused with total core integration to build and strengthen the entire body. It all happens simultaneously. Burn calories and fat, firm and sculpt the body shedding pounds and inches away. Get it ALL done in 55 minutes. All levels welcome. Join Kelsie Daniels of the FIRM(R).
Cardio Sculpt Express - A get in, get results and get out strength training and cardio class utilizing the machines in the Women’s Only Fitness Center. All levels welcome and for women only!
Core Power Yoga - A vigorous vinyasa class that combines the strength and stamina of Ashtanga, the props and alignment of Iyengar, and intense core work for a powerful practice. Get ready to sweat as you see your practice transform in strength, flexibility, and mindfulness. With adjustments, humor, and great music, you will flow through your practice with lightness, ease, and a sense of play.
Dynamic Joya Yoga - A Vinyasa flow on the order of a Power yoga class, also includes a guided Savasana. Pre-requisite... MUST have dedicated practice of one year or more and a full knowledge of all poses and asanas.
EZCardio - This cardio class will provide cardio respiratory training with low impact moves, while improving endurance, strength and flexibility all with great music and an easy going atmosphere. You will have fun and leave this class feeling satisfied and accomplished.
Gentle Yoga - A traditional Yoga class that encompasses flowing postures and poses, increasing strength and flexibility. Focusing on breathing and self-awareness will help free your mind and bring peace and tranquility to your day. Beginner level

Gymnastics - This is a great program to boost your child's self confidence and improve their coordination. Your child will get a healthy dose of fun, starting each class with an exhilarating warm-up to motivating music and then focusing on basic floor exercises, beam, vault and bar skills. The program is topped off with a group floor exercise performance on the last day of class.
Gyrokinesis - A movement system that gently works the entire body opening energy pathways through rhythmic, spiraling movements. Fluid movements that feel like dance are smoothly and harmoniously connected through the use of breath, utilizing low stools and mats.
H.I.T. High Intensity Training - Encompassing plyometric, calisthenics, core stability, and strength training. This class incorporates short bursts at a high intensity - Be prepared to work Hard!

Kids Yoga - Our children’s yoga is an infusion of movement, stories and games. Students will also learn traditional yoga with poses, breathwork and relaxation techniques set in a fun atmosphere. This is an exciting opportunity for children ages 7—11.
Pilates Mat - This class incorporates the basics of Pilates matwork with yoga-infused stretching. It is an ideal way to start your day. Suitable for all levels.
Piloxing - A calorie blasting, core-centric workout incorporating power and the speed of boxing with the toning and flexibility benefits of Pilates. total body challenge Targeting your total body (hips, glutes, thighs, chest, back, shoulders and arms), our certified personal trainer will challenge you with back-to-back movements allowing minimum rest, while maximizing cardio intensity & calorie burn.
Restorative Yoga - Restorative yoga is a form of active therapeutic relaxation that uses props and blankets to modify traditional yoga poses. The postures gently open the body to deep relaxation and healing. Restorative Yoga classes are ideal for those going through stressful times, suffering from chronic pain, illness, or injury, or major life changes. Restorative yoga is also recommended for women during menstruation, pregnancy, and the transition to menopause.
Spin 101/Express - 15 minute 101 introduction to spinning-basic set-up, safety, bike positions, breathing and heart rate monitoring. 30 minute Express ride for those new to spinning and those who are seasoned looking for a quick cardio workout. All positions will be included and are optional during your ride.
Spinning - A multi-level ride with great tunes to energize you! A motivating instructor will take you through a physical and mental workout! You will use guided imagery and visualization to enhance your performance! Whether your goal is to ride around the block or complete a triathlon, this class is truly take it at your own pace. Held in our private Spinning Studio.
Stretch Yoga - The perfect class for those new to yoga and those who want to review key principals. This dynamic Hatha tradition will improve your total flexibility and awareness. Several breathing and meditation techniques practiced during final relaxation. A wonderful way to start your day. This class is suitable for all levels.
TBC - Targeting your total body (hips, glutes, thighs, chest, back, shoulders and arms), our certified personal trainer will challenge you with back-to-back movements allowing minimum rest, while maximizing cardio intensity & calorie burn.

Yoga 101 Understand proper alignment, positions, terms and meanings. This mini session is perfect for anyone getting back into yoga, or just beginning a yoga practice. All levels welcome
Yin Yoga - Yin Yoga is a deeply meditative and relaxing practice holding postures for an extended period of time targeting the connective tissue and fascia of the body. All levels encouraged.

Yoga Challenge - An energetic vinyasa practice based on strength and alignment, an intermediate practice.
Yoga Flow - A Yoga class that emcompasses a "vinyasa flow " with focus on proper form of postures and poses, improving strength and flexibility. This class is geared towards those with recent or current yoga practice.
Yoga for Fitness - A dynamic flowing strength building class combining Yoga and Pilates. You will strengthen your "core" and lower back, with Pilates style exercises while you create flexibility and alignment through Yoga postures focusing on the breath. Using your own bodies resistance, and the breath you will build core strength and increase flexibility. A great workout!

Zumba Fitness - Dance your way through high-energy aerobic routines sure to get your blood pumping. Strengthen your heart and lungs, increase your endurance, decrease stress, and burn calories…and oh yeah, put a smile on your face. The choreography is easy to follow and is low impact.
Zumba Gold - You will move to Great Latin styles of music and dance throughout this class. It is designed for active older adults as well as for those who are true beginners and want to take it a little easier, try a Zumba GOLD class.
Zumbatomic- Sure, chillin’ out is cool. But rockin’ out is a blast! That’s why you’re gonna love the Zumbatomic® fitness program for kids. It’s a fast-forward fusion of the Zumba program’s moves (salsa, cumbia, reggaeton, hip-hop and more) and high-octane workouts designed to let kids ages 4-12 max out on fun and fitness all at the same time. Safe and effective, kids can’t wait to get into the Zumbatomic groove. Watch their energy and fitness levels soar as they get the groove.
